Do you know of a food pantry, soup kitchen or meal service that is doing good work out in the community?
Last year we conducted a Pack the Pantries campaign that raise over $180,000 and 35,000 food items. We know that we can do even better by working together.
Right now there are only about 60 food pantries listed in the 211 database. This does not include all the organizations that provide some food support to families. So, it is up to you to keep your community informed.
Let us know who is providing food in your community and where they are located. We know that there are community groups, churches and individuals who have been providing food support services to their communities for a long time and yet they go unrecognized.
